About
Director of Digital Marketing & Content Creation for the ECHL's Iowa Heartlanders and a 2023 graduate at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I have found my passion for graphic design and social media (specifically in the sports industry) as I have spent almost four seasons with the University of Michigan Women's Ice Hockey team as the Social Media Coordinator and Graphic Designer.
My Story
Beginning in 2021, I set off to improve and bring engagement to the University of Michigan Women's Ice Hockey team's social media accounts. Starting off with just over 1,000 followers on both Instagram and Twitter from previous seasons, I managed to grow both accounts to 6,000 and 2,800 followers respectively in two years. (2025 UPDATE: 14,000 Instagram followers, 3,100 Twitter/X). The team is now the most followed ACHA Women's Division I Instagram and Twitter account. In hopes to one day form a proper Division I NCAA team at the University, we have gained the attention of University President Santa Ono, Barstool Sports creator Dave Portnoy, and have been interviewed for numerous articles, including the Michigan Daily, USA Today, and the New York Times. Without the growth of our social media, better fan engagement, and improved, professional graphics, it's uncertain whether we would have gained the momentum we have today.
Now a graduate, I am continuing to utilize my experience working with the U of M Women's Ice Hockey team with the ECHL's Iowa Heartlanders professional ice hockey team. Here, I am growing fan engagement, improving graphics, and bringing my own creativity to the table.
